Art porcelain vase
The composition depicts a symbolic self-portrait of the author – a portrait of a woman’s face, created as a personal interpretation of the author. The face is depicted with slightly parted lips, hair fluttering in the wind and a hand raised to the face. The portrait is created in a bright, saturated color scheme, giving the image an expressive and lively character.
Bright fuchsia branches with bright flowers twine around the portrait. Their intense tones echo the color scheme of the portrait, creating a unified composition. The flowing lines of hair, flowers and leaves follow the shape of the vase and create a light rhythm of movement.
The vase is based on a white porcelain vase made in Germany. The height of the vase is 24 cm.
The work is created in the overglaze painting technique with gilding and professionally fired, continuing the classical porcelain painting traditions in a modern artistic interpretation.
