Art porcelain plate

The composition depicts a woman standing in a rye field, holding a bouquet of wild flowers, in which rye ears and blue rye flowers are visible among other flowers. Her head is covered by a wide hat, under which her face is partially hidden. The woman’s calm, motionless pose creates a contemplative mood and a feeling of the moment of summer’s full bloom, in which the second half of summer is already felt to be approaching.

A wide rye field with hay bales opens up behind the woman. Trees and forests are visible further on, forming the background of the landscape and giving depth to the composition. The warm summer colors and golden fields create a wide, peaceful space in which the human figure merges with the surrounding nature.

Four bees fly around the woman. Their movement contrasts with the woman’s immobility, introducing liveliness and rhythm into the composition. The bees, the bouquet of flowers and the rye ears connect the human figure with the continuous movement of nature.

The round shape of the plate allows the landscape to expand, creating a unified panorama around the central female figure. The horizontal line of the landscape and the forest strip balance the vertical position of the figure, while the movement of the bees gives the composition dynamics.

The base of the plate is made of Fürstenberg white porcelain made in Germany. The diameter of the plate is 28 cm.

The work is created in the overglaze painting technique with gilding and professionally fired. The work continues the classical traditions of porcelain painting, combining a historical porcelain form with a modern artistic interpretation.
