Art porcelain vase

The composition depicts a woman standing in a rye field, holding a bouquet of wild flowers in her hands, in which, among other flowers, rye ears and blue rye flowers are visible. Her head is covered by a wide hat, under which her face is partially hidden. The woman’s still image creates a calm, contemplative mood, as if she had stopped at the moment of summer’s full bloom, when the second half of summer is already felt to be approaching.

A wide rye field opens up behind the woman, which in the distance passes into a landscape with hay bales. Behind the fields, trees and forests are visible, which close the landscape and give it depth. The warm summer weather and the golden tones of the mature fields create a wide, quiet space in which the human image merges with the surrounding nature.

The bouquet in the woman’s hands becomes a direct connection with the landscape – it combines ears of rye, rye flowers and other summer flowers. The diversity of flowers complements the field landscape and brings color and rhythm to the composition.

Four bees fly around the woman. Their movement contrasts with the woman’s calm, still pose, introducing liveliness and a sense of continuous activity of nature into the composition. Bees, flowers and ears of corn create a living summer landscape, in which each element has its own movement and rhythm.

The peace of the woman, the movement of the bees and the wide horizon of the landscape create the main contrast of the composition – a stopped human moment and the continuous movement of nature. The warm summer color scheme simultaneously highlights the mature and easily perceived seasonal change of the landscape.

The vase is based on a Kaiser white porcelain vase made in Germany. The height of the vase is 28 cm.

The work is created in the overglaze painting technique with gilding and professionally fired. The work continues the traditions of classical porcelain painting, combining a historical porcelain form with a modern artistic interpretation.
