Exhibited at the exhibition 25.06.-25.07.2026 “Human – Nature – Movement”.

Art porcelain jug with lid

The jug depicts a portrait of a woman in black and white painting. The woman’s face is made in a three-quarter turn, with slightly parted lips and one hand raised to her face. The flowing hair forms flowing lines that visually continue the movement of the composition and highlight the image of the portrait.

Fuchsia branches in pastel shades wind around the portrait on both sides. Their flowers and leaves form a light, rhythmic frame around the face, while reducing the graphic contrast of the black and white portrait. The lines of the flowers follow the shape of the jug and visually connect the composition around the entire surface of the object.

The vase is based on a 1950s Rosenthal Chippendale-shaped porcelain jug manufactured in Germany. The height of the jug is 26 cm.

The work is created in the overglaze painting technique with gilding and professionally fired, continuing the classical porcelain painting traditions in a modern artistic interpretation.
