Art porcelain vase

The composition depicts a woman in a light, flowing dress emerging from the water. Her image is associated with the ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite – the embodiment of the creative power of beauty, love and life. Here, the water becomes the boundary between the mysterious underwater world and the shore known to man, from which the image of the goddess is revealed to the viewer.

Waves wind around the vase from all sides, creating the impression of continuous movement. Rose bushes grow on both sides of the woman’s image. Their flowers echo the image of Aphrodite and the symbolism of love, while the water reminds of the goddess’s connection with the sea and her mythical emergence from sea foam.

Swans swim next to the woman. In ancient Greek mythology, the swan is associated with beauty, love and divine presence. Their calm movement balances the dynamics of the waves and gives the scene a dreamy, almost mythical mood.

In the distance, clouds rise on the horizon, but sunlight is reflected in the water in pastel shades. Rainbows appear in the sky, connecting the images of water, light and sky into a single landscape. The elements of nature merge here with the image of a woman, creating a vision of beauty, life force and human unity with nature.

The vase is based on a Kaiser white porcelain vase made in Germany. The height of the vase is 24 cm.

The work is created in the overglaze painting technique with gilding and professionally fired. The work continues the classical traditions of porcelain painting, combining a historical porcelain form with a modern artistic interpretation.
